That said, once the new millenium hit, awareness grew immensely due to a string of talented producers that allowed the music to reach more ears. A major leader in this big push was Ricardo Villalobos, the unique Chilean talent who has since become the posterboy for all things stripped-back and minimal.

Tracks like 'Easy Lee' , 'Dexter' , 'Theogenese' and the rest of the nine track collection offer a mesmerising display of sonic exploration that is undoubtedly distinctly Villalobos and helped cement his place as one of the most creative producers in recent memory.

Each band brought up gets its own thread see our example thread. Once a decision is rendered, it is FINAL until or if the band releases a new album, or new evidence comes up that shows it may qualify as acceptable under our rules.
Before asking for an appeal, you are expected to do a search of the forums to see if the band has been previously brought up. You are also expected to read our guidelines for how to make an appeal and what evidence we would need for it. Please note that duplicate threads for bands that already have threads will be closed.
Likewise, we ask each user to limit the appeals they bring up to no more than a few per week.
