The summer wind, came blowin' in, from across the sea It lingered there, to touch your hair, and walk with me All summer long, we sang a song, and then we strolled that golden sand Two sweethearts, and the summer wind Like painted kites, those days and nights, they went flyin' by The world was new, beneath a blue, umbrella sky Then softer than, a piper man, one day it called to you I lost you, I lost you to the summer wind The autumn wind, and the winter winds, they have come and gone And still the days, those lonely days, they go on and on And guess who sighs his lullabies, through nights that never end My fickle friend, the summer wind The summer wind warm summer wind Mmm the summer wind.
Jun 07, Marcel rated it really liked it Shelves: fiction , whodunnit , thriller , humor. I liked this book. It's a proper mystery novel about a musician of the likes of Cobain who gets murdered, and Mike Malick, a police detective is tasked with solving the murder.
It's fast paced, light hearted at the right times, serious at other times. It does have a few disturbing themes in the book The characters are well rounded. Though the 'leak' was a big surprise to me, and felt out of character. This series ties I liked this book. This series ties in in the Lexy Cooper series by the same author, but it's set apart from it, though it takes place after the events in Griefed Lexy Cooper Mystery 3 , which do get referenced at a few times.
But it's stand alone. A very enjoyable read. Feb 06, Caedy Eries rated it really liked it Shelves: challenge , favorites , first-in-a-series , kindle , i-own-it , mystery-and-thriller , series-read.
