Continuing her varied recording career that spans a dozen instrumental and vocal jazz and devotional albums, "In The Garden" is a soothing session featuring Duquesnel's lyrical piano poetry and enhanced by Martin's woodwinds.
The pianist wrote nearly half of the record and conceived of fresh arrangements for the timeless hymns with the lion's share of the lush orchestrations deftly handled by Martin. Setting the mood for reflection, Duquesnel's spacious production allows her poignant, uplifting and communicative piano melodies to occupy the fore while sweeping orchestral woodwind backdrops underscore the exquisite orations.
A companion "In The Garden" DVD is also now available, pairing the album's tracks with stunning nature videos that are currently in rotation at the recently launched Radiant TV network.
Lensed by Creation Scape's Gary Hanson, the cinematic images marry the music to the divine splendor of colorful carpets of floral fauna, majestic mountain ranges, placid streams and babbling brooks, verdant rainforests and oceanfront vistas.
Just click on the Library tab and then click on "Now Playing" and you can access the album by selecting all the tracks and right clicking. Edited by Snow Dog - December 25 at Hi, i sent a lot 8? A Note from the Artist Hi, This is a present for you. I made it. I think it looks cool. I think it looks post-rocky. I also think it has the mood of an album, which seeks to introduce listeners to new, and perhaps exciting, music. It has many colors.
Please actively criticize it, for without such constructive commentary I might never achieve artistic perfection. Yet I also warn to be gentle, due to my always fragile ego. Love, T. Download the Whole Release.

Their music is not easy digestible either. It is pretty heavy, and not in the sense of their music being brutal and heavy. It is heavy because it is epic and a large meal to go digest.
The vocal harmonies, which is excellent, also gives this album an epic feel. The guitar sound is also based on masses of guitars in harmony. The bass and drums rumbles on too and kicks ass in the speakers. Don't play this album if your bladder is full and there is no toilets around. Disaster is assured. I like the sound, I have to admit and I like their music. I also like their guts. In my dealings with them see interview , they have come across as a sincere, professional band and a credit to this scene.
My only gripe is the lack of some truly great songs here. The type of songs that would elevate this album from good to great and really break this band. They are close to be great, but there are still more work to be done.
